Rhinebeck is in Dutchess County on the east shore of the Hudson River two hours north of New York City and one hour south of Albany. It can be easily reached by car (NYS Thruway or Taconic State Parkway) or train (AMTRAK).
The Village of Rhinebeck is centered around the intersection
of Montgomery Street (Route 9 North-South) and Market Street
(Route 308 East-West) at which point is the town's only traffic
light. Our concerts are presented in the Church of the Messiah
at 6436 Montgomery Street, two blocks north of the light at the
corner of Chestnut Street.
From the Taconic State Parkway: Exit at Route 199 West;
bear left at traffic light onto Route 308. Continue on Route 308
to the traffic light in the center of the Village of Rhinebeck.
Bear right onto Montgomery Street (Route 9 North-South) and
proceed two blocks to the church.
From New York State Thruway(I-87): Take exit 19. Take
first exit off traffic circle (Route 28W) take first exit to
Kingston-Rhinecliff bridge. Over the bridge go to second traffic
light, intersection of Route 9G and Route 199, make a right turn
onto Route 9G South.
Go to next traffic light at the intersection of Route 9 and
Route 9G. Turn right onto Route 9 South, continue on this road
for approximately two miles to the Village of Rhinebeck.
